The Kingston Yacht Club, in partnership with Kingston Recreation Department and the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, has opened opportunities for KYC members and all Kingston residents to take part in the sailing, and rowing courses to be offered this summer by DBMS.
KYC is donating 10% from their scholarship fund for each first-time participant registration toward a Sailing Program partnering with the Duxbury Bay Maritime School and the Kingston Recreation Department. The fee listed on the Kingston Recreation website is indicative of the onetime 10% KYC reduction plus a generous 10% onetime discount from the DBMS.
Additionally, for active KYC members the club is donating an additional 20% discount scholarship to all members and their immediate family ( one session per person). KYC members will pay the amount listed on the Rec website, and then send their receipt to the KYC for their additional 20% discount scholarship, which will be reimbursed to the member.
Programs are for 7 years old and up. There are 5, two week sessions starting June 26. These will fill up very fast so register now!
